Elena Mary Carcich, 86, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in West New York, NJ, Brick, NJ and Florida before moving to Whiting in 2004. Elena was a union seamstress. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Matteo N. Carcich in 2008. She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Coyle of Brick; three sons, Matthew of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, James of Chesapeake, VA and Richard of Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 16th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Thursday, August 17th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
