Elizabeth A. Damiani, 92, of Crestwood Village IV, Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Crestwood Manor Health Care Center. Born in Newark, and resided in Manhattan, NY, before moving to Whiting in 1983. Elizabeth attended the Cooper Union School of Art, in Manhattan. She was the art business manager for Newsweek for 15 years, retiring in 1984. She also worked for Geyer Advertising Agency for 25 years. Elizabeth was a member of the Salmagundi Art Club, of Manhattan, NY; the Ocean County Artists Guild of Island Heights; and the Crestwood Artists Guild of Whiting. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Whiting. Elizabeth is survived by many friends especially Cynthia Bullen and Frances Reeve, both of Whiting. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting. Inurnment will immediately follow the mass.
