Elizabeth Ryan, 91, of Lakewood, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. Born and raised in Irvington, she lived in Whiting for seven years before moving to Lakewood 2 years ago. She was a bookkeeper for Prudential Insurance Co. in Fort Washington, PA and Newark, NJ for 20 years. Elizabeth was a member of The Woman of the Moose in PA and a life long member the D.A. Sokol Club in Newark. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband of 13 years, Thomas Ryan in 1984 and her sister, Madeline Pohlig. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary Alice Noon of Hilltown, PA and William and Tina Noon of Point Pleasant, NJ; one daughter, Eileen Hampson and her companion, Robert Amendola of Bluffton, SC; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, Feb. 12th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
