Emily C. DePinto, 101, of Whiting passed away on May 7th 2025. Born in Newark NJ, she's been a long-time resident of Crestwood Village II, Whiting.

Prior to her retirement in 1989, Mrs. DePinto was a customer service representative for Sears Roebuck & Company for 12 years. A parishioner of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, she was a talented self-taught artist, a self-taught organist, and loved flowers and gardening.

She is predeceased by her parents, Valentine and Katherine Stachowicz; her husband Anthony; and all of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Barbara Dowd of Harwichport, MA, Walter Garner of Whiting, and John Garnarcz of York, PA; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2025 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm and Tuesday May 13 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 schoolhouse Rd. Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 AM at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. Interment will follow at Saint Mary of the lake cemetery, Lakewood.
