Emily Jones Conlin Spreder, 105, of Berkeley Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Bayville Manor, Bayville, NJ. Emily was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 1, 1907 and spent her childhood in Lockport, NY. After graduating from school, Emily worked at Corson Manufacturing Company in Lockport. Emily lived in Buffalo, NY, Baltimore, MD, San Francisco, CA and Winston-Salem, NC. Later she moved to New Jersey and lived in Morrsitown, Lake Hopatcong and Florham Park. She was employed by Warner-Lambert Pharmaceuticals, retiring in 1972. In 1976, she moved to Whiting, and remained there until she moved to Bayville in August 2012. Emily's interests included traveling, going on cruises, bowling, knitting, sewing, cooking, baking and playing cards. Emily was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Harriet Jones; her sister, Sarah; her brothers, Alex and Tom; her first husband, John Conlin; and her second husband, Bill Spreder. emily leaves behind many friends and acquaintances all of shom have been inspired by her wit, wisdom and charm. There will be a Memorial Gathering for Emily form 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29th at Crestwood Village One Clubhouse, 92 Fairway Lane, Whiting. Friends are invited to attend. Lunch will be served.
