Eugene J. Condon, 96, of Whiting, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Whippany, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1980. Eugene was a draftsman for Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and a member of the Telephone enjoyed playing golf. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Virginia in 1999. He is survived by five nieces, Dolores Cain, Valerie Hocker, Judy Nucci, Shirley Conroy and Barbara Montambault; three nephews, William Smith, James Smith and James Condon; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews.
