Evelyn M. Liotto, 98, of Edgewater Park, formerly of Whiting, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at Virtua Rehabilitation Center - Mount Holly in Lumberton, NJ. Born in Newark, she lived in Clifton before moving to Whiting in 1981. Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a member of the Fernwood Women's Club, the Crestwood Promenaders and the Manchester Chapter of Deborah. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Peter E. Liotto in 2006, her brother, Clifford Braack and her grandson, Mark Rizzo. She is survived by three children, Dennis P. Liotto of Rio Rancho, NM, Elaine Niznik of Secaucus and Judith Rizzo of Edgewater Park; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 17th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Thursday, Jan. 18th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park.
