Florence C. Broadwell, 83, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Arista Care at Whiting. Florence was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Whiting 21 years ago. She was a secretary for Weston Electrical Instrument Co., Elizabeth. She was a longtime volunteer for Somebody C.A.R.E.S., Inc., Whiting and Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carolyn Broadwell of Whiting. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation is private.
