Francis A. Penniman, 85, of Whiting, passed away November 17, 2017 at AristaCare at Whiting. Francis was born in Acton, Massachusetts and lived there until he moved to Toms River, NJ and later, Whiting, NJ. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. He was a supervisor for Ciba-Geigy in Toms River, NJ for 30 years. \ Francis was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Penniman; one daughter, Rebecca Penniman; and two sons, Brian Penniman and Scott Penniman. He is survived by four children, Regina Godbolt, Dale Penniman, Wayne Penniman and Jessie Specht; 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Final disposition is private.
