Frank R. Trifari, 88, of the Whiting section of Manchester passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at home. Born in Eatontown, he lived in Paterson for most of his life before retiring to Whiting in 1987. A US Navy Veteran, Mr. Trifari was a Police Officer in Paterson from 1961 until his retirement in 1983. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his children, Frank J. Trifari and his wife Eileen of Pequannock, and his daughter Patricia Cycyk and her husband Troy of Bear, DE; his grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan and Patrick Mosca, Nicole Markalis and Michelle Trifari; and six great-grandchildren, Briana, Logan, Madison, Charlotte, Dominic, and Amelia. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10:45am at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.
