Frederick C. Dieck, 83, of Toms River Township, NJ, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Kearny most of his life before retiring to Toms River. He worked for U.S. Plywood and Sy Syms. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He had a love for fishing and music. He was the husband of the late Jessie G. Dieck. Surviving are a daughter, Diane Dieck-Wengerter; two sons, Craig Dieck and Scott Dieck; a sister, Margaret Zampano; seven grandchildren, Craig, Jr., Brian, Nicole, Kathleen, Cynthia, Samantha and Kelsey. A private ceremony will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association or the WWII Memorial. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Inc., Whiting.
