Genevieve Firneno, 84, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Community Medical Center in TOms River. Born in Brooklyn, NY she lived in Long Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 1994. She was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband, Carmine in 2000. SHe is survived by her two sons, Michael and Robert; two sisters, Marie Rizzo and Yolanda Barba and four grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 27th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, Jan. 28th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Entombment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park.
