Georgette F. (Howarth) Locklin, age 79, of Whiting, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Whiting Health Care Center. Born in New York City, she lived in Teaneck and Upper Saddle River before moving to Whiting 14 years ago. Georgette was a bank teller for National Community Bank in Teaneck before her retirement. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. Georgette and her husband were blessed to be able to spend their 49th wedding anniversary together just two days ago. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Surviving are her loving husband, Robert Locklin; her son, Robert Locklin of North Carolina; her daughter, Allison Cappitella of East Haddam, CT and four grandchildren. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 29th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ. Disposition will be private.
