Geraldine F. Hawley, 85, of Whiting, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Youngstown, OH, she lived in Waretown, NJ before moving to Whiting 7 years ago. Geraldine is survived by her husband of 42 years, William; five children, Frank Cartwright, Linda Saso, Joan Kirchmer, Eileen Baker and Kathleen Dodson; one sister, Georgia Sumerall; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, April 4th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 8:30 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Visitation will also be Friday morning, April 5th from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by Interment at 11 a.m. at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
