Grace Javitz, 72, of Whiting, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010, at home. Born in Paterson, NJ. She resided in Lincoln Park, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2001. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Grace is survived by her husband Stephen of 52 years; four children, Kathlene Miller, Stephen Javitz, Lori Javitz, and Lainie Banghart; two granddaughters, Stefanie and Kaitlyn; two sisters Louise Negast and Anna Wood. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Eva DeSimone and her brother Joseph DeSimone. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be Thursday at 9 am, at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery.
