Helen Fetherbay Bryan, wife of Thomas Bryan, 84, of Whiting, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was born in Paterson, NJ in 1924 where she was a member of the Totowa Presbyterian Church and the Passaic County Christian Endeavor Union.. She worked in the National Headquarters of the Presbyterian Church, USA, in New York City for 16 years (1945-1962). She lived in New Milford, NJ for 28 years, where she and her husband attended Old North Reformed Church, Dumont. She was a resident of Crestwood Village I since 1989 and attended the Community Reformed Church, Whiting. Mrs. Bryan was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, in 2005. Interment will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting, NJ.
