Helen Kurzec, 87, of Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Arista Care at Whiting. Helen was born in Zamlice, Poland. She was a factory worker. Upon moving to Whiting, she became a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edward Kurzec in 2009. She is survived by one step-daughter, Christine Baccianelli of North Carolina; two grandchildren and a nephew, Jarek Abramczyk of Farmington, CT.. Visitation will be Monday, April 21st from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, Doylestown, PA.
