Helen M. Lomas, 89, of Whiting, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at home. Helen was born and raised in Haddonfield, NJ and moved to Whiting in 1995. She was a secretary for the Camden County Probation Department, retiring after 15 years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Leonard P. Lomas in 1974; her son, Leonard P, Jr. in 2010 and her sister, Anna Shreve. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Donald Webster, Jr. of Whiting; a daughter-in-law, Jane Lomas; one nephew, Robert Shreve; five grandchildren, Nancy Lomas, Catherine Brown, Dawn Webster, Patricia Webster and David Webster; and one great-grandson, Ricky Brown IV. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday, Oct. 11th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 9 AM, Wednesday, Oct. 12th at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
