Helen C. Treubig, 91, of Whiting, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived there and in Florida before moving to Whiting in 1995. Helen was an office worker and saleswoman for Abraham & Straus Department Store in Brooklyn, NY. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Morris G. Treubig in 2010; her son, Peter John Treubig in 2009 and her sister, Dorothy DeMartin. She is survived by her son, George Treubig of Whiting and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 1st from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
