Helen Walpole, 98, of Poughkeepsie New York passed away on February 19, 2025 at home. Born in New York City, she lived in Yonkers for many years before moving to Whiting in 2002.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Walpole was a secretary at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York City. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, she was a member of the adoration Society.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, her son Lawrence Jr, and her daughter Deborah, as well as six sisters, Adeline Cicalese, Gloria McSweeney, Mary Garace, Grace Minstri, Angelina Wunderlich, Mildred MacDonald and one brother Joseph Scialpi

She is survived by her daughter, Donna and her husband Michael Letterese; two sons, Douglas Walpole and his wife, Lydia, and Robert Walpole and his wife Michaela; six grandchildren, and five great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 9-10:45am on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:45 at the All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment will follow at New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
