Hildegard Krause, 87 of WHITING, Manchester, died on Sunday January 2, 2011 at home. Born in Germany, she lived in Toms River before moving to Whiting in 1999. She worked for the Toms River Country Club and was also a Home Health Aid; but first and foremost, Hildegard was a homemaker. Mrs. Krause is survived by her husband of 66 years, Egon; her sons, Norbert and his wife Sabra; and Ralph and his wife Marie; her 5 grandchildren, Jason, Kevin, Jared and Brandon Krause, and Valerie Rieman; and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 8, 2011 from 12noon - 2pm at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home 28 Schoolhouse Rd. Whiting, NJ. A funeral service will follow at 2pm in the funeral home.
