Ilene A. Jacobus, 82, passed away on November 13, 2023, at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.

Ilene was born on March 05, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Olav and Palma Brastad. She was married to her beloved husband, Walter, before he passed away in 2022.

Ilene is predeceased by her husband, Walter W. Jacobus; mother, Palma Hjalvik; father, Olav Brastad; and daughter, Kirsten DeRocker. Ilene is survived by her son, Walter Jacobus of Whiting; daughter, Julie Jacobus of Orlando; grandsons, Thomas (T.J.) DeRocker and Walter Jacobus; and granddaughters, Brittany DeRocker and Faith Jacobus.

A burial will take place on Monday, November 20th, 2023, from 1:30-2pm at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
