Irene Ginex, 82, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, August 04, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Chester, PA, she lived in Elizabeth and Ortley Beach before moving to Whiting in 1977. Irene was an Assistant Vice-President for First National Bank of Toms River and the Branch Manager for Garden State Bank, both in Whiting. She was a member of the Rotary Club of Lakehurst and a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Irene is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles M. Ginex, Sr.; two sons, Charles M. Ginex, Jr. of Barnegat and Thomas D. Ginex of Whiting; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, August 7, and from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Monday morning at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
