Irene G. Walsh, 87, of Whiting, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. Born in Hackensack, NJ, she was raised in Maywood until she was married. She then lived in Teaneck before moving to Whiting in 1980. Irene was an active member at Keswick Pines Swim Club. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph V. Walsh; two children, Dennis Walsh of Lodi, NJ and Stacy Bjorhus of Wayne, PA; one brother, Frank Greber of Coopersburg, PA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:45 a.m., Thursday at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Brig.
