Isabel Mercy, 93, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, May 05, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Kearny, she lived in Springfield before moving to Whiting in 2000. Isabel was a self-employed dog groomer. She was a violinist with the West Hudson Symphony Orchestra for many years. She was a member of the Community Reformed Church, Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter in 1999; her brother, Monroe and her two sisters, Dorothy and Marion. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Karin Mercy of Bayville; four grandsons and 11 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
