Jean E. Hoglund, 89, of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in Kearny, NJ, she lived in Wayne, NJ before moving to Whiting 16 years ago. Jean was a Gold Star graduate of Kearny High School. She was a secretary for Totowa Systems and the Star Ledger and was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, Toms River, NJ. Jean is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Bertil Hoglund; three children and their spouses, Enid and James Treuvey of Pompton Plains, NJ, Carl & Denise Hoglund of Princeville, HI and David and Connie Hoglund of Bethlehem, PA; one sister, Linda Marie Brobst of Long Valley, NJ; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting, NJ.
