Jean G. White, 86, of Whiting, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Queens, NY, she lived in Midland Park, NJ before moving to Whiting in 1993. Jean was a registered nurse. She graduated from Mary Immaculate School of Nursing in Jamaica, Queens, NY in 1951 and worked at Allendale Nursing Home and Pine Rest Nursing Home, retiring in 1993. Jean was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting and a member of the church's Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Deacon Thomas M. White in 2001 and her son, Thomas M White in 2008. Surviving are two sons, William B. and John M.; three daughters, Patricia E. Alvarez, Eileen M. Early and Rosanne E. Overton; 20 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, July 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
