Joan Maria Garrison, 89, of Whiting NJ, formerly of Caldwell NJ, passed away on Monday December 17, 2018. Visiting will be held on Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting from 2:00 to 4:00PM. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday December 20, 2018 at the Church of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 30 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting at 10:45 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. Joan was born in Hoboken, raised in Verona, and lived in Caldwell before moving to Whiting in 2010. She was a Research Specialist working at the Caldwell Library. Joan was the beloved daughter of the late George and Catherine Albert Garrison. Loving sister of Charles Garrison, the late John, Martin George, and Ruth Schuster. Cherished aunt to several nephews, nieces and cousins, especially Wayne Garrison, Linda Garrison, and Mary Pat Bogart.
