Jocelyn (Jackie) R. Gorman, 88, passed away on December 29, 2024. Born in London to Reginald and Johanna Ward, she later met her husband, Thomas, and together they traveled the world during his service in the Air Force. After her husband's military service they lived, first in Staten Island, then moved to Rochester NY for 20 years, before making Whiting, NJ their home in 1999.

Jackie worked as a nurse's aide, but family and faith were most important to her. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, participating in the Altar Rosary and the Legion of Mary. She also enjoyed being part of Crestwood Village Five's Ceramics Club.

Jocelyn was predeceased by her parents, Reginald and Johanna Ward; her husband, Thomas (2010); her son, Thomas (2022); her grandchild, Kelly Stefanski (1984); and her brother, John Ward (2024). She is survived by her children, Teresa LeBourgeois, Linda Stefanski (John), Jocelyn Bragg (William), Charles Gorman (Francine), and Catherine Griffith (Robert); her grandchildren, Sabrina, Michael, Christopher, Megan, Caitlin, William, Jocelyn, Ryan, Danielle, Sarah, Matthew, Adam, James, Kyle, Peter, Jack, and Emily; and her great-grandchildren, Clementine, Connor, Bowie, Duncan, Finn, Callan, Freya, and twins on the way.

Visitation will be held at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home on Friday January 3, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass will be held at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Mrs. Gorman's memory to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.StJude.org would be appreciated.
