John Cali, 83, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Born in New York City, NY, he lived in Deen Park, Long Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 2004. John was a independent truck driver with Local 814 Teamsters, New York City, NY. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. John is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy; three children, Theresa, Dotty and John and three grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 3rd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. Interment will be on Friday, Jan. 4th at 10 a.m. at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
