John Phillips, 72, of Whiting, passed away peacefully at home on September 20th. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Cynthia Phillips (nee Palmer); his two daughters and sons-in-law, Dina and Wilmont Cooke of South Carolina and Lori and Howard Rudolph of Pennsylvania; his son, John Phillips, Jr. of Whiting; his grandchildren, Alexis Jelly of Pennsylvania, Joseph Cooke of South Carolina, Matthew Rudolph of Texas and Joshua Rudolph of Pennsylvania; his brother, Theodore Phillips of Florida and his two sisters, Maryetta Pepin of Texas and Dora Dunn of California. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 7th at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church, on the corner of Route 37 and Brown Ave., Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Arrangements are under the direction of Aaron Cremation Associates, Whiting.
