John E. Roddin, 78, passed away on January 15, 2025. Born on December 27, 1946, in Brooklyn, NY to parents Hugh and Kathleen (Mullin) Roddin. John lived in Staten Island, working for Con Edison for 32 years. He retired in 2005 and settled in Whiting, NJ with his wife Judith.

John served in the U.S. Navy and was a Tin Can Sailor.

He is predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen (Mullin) Roddin; his first wife JoAnn Genau; and his sister Delores Maldonado. He is survived by his wife Judith; his daughters Susan Jones and her husband Tommy, and Barbara Stanley, his step-daughter Stephanie Silveira; ; and his grandchildren Annmarie Jones, Megan Silveira, Jordan Silveira and Hailey Stanley; his brother Hugh Roddin Jr and his wife Ruth, his nephew Jeff; his nieces Jill, Kathleen, and Eileen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be offered on January 22, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on January 23, 2025, at 11:30 at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
