Joseph Reid, 59, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at home. Born in Newark, NJ, he lived in Belford, NJ before moving to Whiting 15 years ago. Joseph worked for Spirits Liquors in Whiting for 10 years. Joseph was predeceased by one brother Thomas Reid of Florida; four sisters, Beverly Ens, of Bricktown, Rita D'Espies, of Lanoka Harbor, MaryJune Natale of Florida, and Georgia Brooks of California. He is survived by two brothers David, of Colorado and Archie of New York; two sisters Ella Yessman of Arkansas and Patricia Stiuso of Florida. A mass of christian burial will be held Friday, February 17th at 11:15 am at St James Church, 94 Broad Street, Red Bank. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road, Red Bank.
