Joseph R Twardus, 80, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he lived in South Brunswick, before moving to Whiting in 2000. Joseph was a 20 year mechanic for Wood Pine Construction, Mt Holly, NJ retiring in 2000. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret, of 60 years; his 2 daughters, Susan Faith and her husband, Jay, of Philadelphia, PA and Cindy Schioppa and her partner, Gina, of Bensalem, PA; 2 brothers, Sidney Twardus, of Manchester, NJ and Daniel Twardus, of West VA; a sister, Ellen Lambert, Virginia; 3 grandchildren Christopher, Samantha, and Kate. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Monday, March 6th at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
