Josephine Tribel (1923-2022) passed away peacefully on March 19, 2022. Loving wife of the late Anton Tribel for 70 years. Mother of Joanne Plaza (Rich), Alice Ford (Rick) and Anton Tribel (Marie). Grandmother of Amy, Jennifer, Kevin, Michael and Anton. "Grammy the Great" to Abigail, Drew, Nicole, Kylie, Paige and Emma. Aunt "Mazie" to the extensive Murtagh clan. Josie lived in Newark for 80 years before moving to Crestwood Village 18 years ago. She loved the beach, restaurants, Jeopardy and the Yankees. She had a wonderful life and, when she gets to heaven, will have great stories to tell her six sisters and brother. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10:45 am at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Manchester Township, NJ. A private burial service will follow at Brig.Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
