Karen J. Loeffler, 69, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on August 24, 2024.

Born in Staten Island, NY, Karen spent most of her life in Lakewood, NJ, with her family. In 2022, she and her husband, Wayne, found a new home in Whiting, NJ. Karen enjoyed taking road trips and family vacations and spending time with her friends. She worked for Manor By the Sea as a Unit Secretary in Bradley Beach, before retiring in 2020.

Karen is predeceased by her parents Robert Davis and Eileen Gontarek. She is survived by her loving husband Wayne; her daughters Leigh Loeffler and Jillian Apgar and her husband Justin; her sister Lynne McCabe and her husband Chuck. Karen also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Gail Campbell, and her husband, Thomas, as well as her nieces, Christine and Kerry, her nephew, Matthew, and her beloved puppy, Noelle.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd Whiting NJ 08759.

A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 9:30 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, NJ 08721.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Karen's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a cancer research organization of your choice.
