Leocadia S. Brodmerkel, 104, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Whiting Health Care Center. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Bergen County and Lakehurst before moving to Whiting in 1974. She was a secretary for Peter Cooper Corporation, Dayton, NY. Leocadia was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 1975. She is survived by one nephew, Roderic W. Mettler of Aurora, CO. Services are private under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
