Lillian C. Marrone, 92, of Whiting, Manchester, passed away on Tuesday, December 9th. Born in Jersey City and resided in Cliffside Park and Brick, before moving to Whiting in 1963. She was the owner/operator of the Italian Delicatessen in Cliffside Park and Union City for many years. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Lillian was predeceased by her loving husband, Vincent N. Marrone Sr. in 1991, and her grandson Paul Marrone. She is survived by her son Vincent N. Marrone Jr., and his wife Patricia of Lavallette; two grandchilren, Thomas and his wife Cynthia, and Robert; and two great-grandchildren Nicholas and Julia. A funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday, December 11, at 12 p.m., at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park. www.manchestermemorial.net
