Linda E. Service, 69, of Whiting, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010. Born in Quincy, MA, she resided in East Windsor before moving to Whiting in 1999. Linda worked in the office at Crestwood Village V. She belonged to the Garden Club, and enjoyed crafts and cross-stitching. Linda was predeceased by her parents Roy and Bessie Service, and her sister, Jane Steepy. She is survived by two nieces Kirsten Widener and Tracy Steepy. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd, Whiting.
