Lino Mendez Santos, 86, of Toms River, NJ, passed away the morning of January 19, 2026 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Lino was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, to parents Carmelo and Lucia Mendez. Lino settled in Toms River with his wife, Janet.

Lino had a successful career as a master boat painter and worked for Johnson Bros. Boatworks in Point Pleasant, NJ.

Lino is survived by his wife, Janet and his children, Freddie, Alex, Eddie, Jackie, Daved, Joel, Jeffrey, Erik, and Matthew. Followed by his siblings, Carmen, Jocey, Marilyn, Alice, Kevin, and Brandon. Accompanied by his 42 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting, NJ. Cremation will be private.
