Lorraine Maguire, 84, of Forked River, NJ, passed away at home, surrounded by her children on Monday, November 09, 2015. Lorraine was born in Harrison, New Jersey on November 7, 1931. She resided in both East Newark and Kearny before moving to Forked River in 1992. Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Charles J. Maguire; devoted mother to Charles and wife Colleen, Linda Quinn and husband Dennis, Coleen Salisbury and husband Andrew, Maureen Healey and husband John, Thomas and wife Gina, and Laurie McAvoy and husband Gordon. She was the doting grandmother "Nanny" to Scott, Ryan, Charles, Daniel, Erin, Conor, Claire, Thomas, Sarah, Emily, Kerstin, and Owen as well as proud great-grandmother to Declan. She was the much-loved sister of Joan Lowery, James Egbert and wife Sandy, Bruce Egbert and wife Debbie, Carol Kielbus and husband Robert, the late Dorothy Murray and Marilyn Leister. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12th at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ 08759. A funeral mass will be offered at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13th at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, 30 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting, NJ.
