Louis J. Gagnon, 78, of Whiting, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 peacefully at home. Born in Cohoes, NY, he lived in Clifton, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2002. Louis worked as a warehouse Foreman at J-Mar Electronics. He was a member of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Franciscans, in Whiting, also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Clifton, NJ. Louis is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ann (nee: Carney); his children, Patricia Gagnon of Budd Lake, NJ; Jane and her husband Michael of Hamburg, NJ; Robert and his wife Diane Gagnon of East Stroudsburg PA; sister, Annette Gagnon of Edmonds, WA; cousin. Aleta Kennedy of Waterford, NY; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 13th from 4 to 8 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. A funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 10:45 am at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will follow at Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
