Louis J. Rosa, 87, of Whiting, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at AristaCare at Whiting. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Whiting in 2002. Louis worked at Rockefeller Center for 36 years before retiring in 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Louis is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Rosa; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jay Kurtz of Staten Island, NY; one son, Steven Rosa and his companion, Marla of Florida; four grandchildren, Gregory, Marissa, Vincent and Jason; and four great-grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria, Bella and Tyler. Relatives and friends are invited to visit Saturday, Feb. 3rd, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
