Lucille Steinicke, 87, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Lucille was born and raised in Queens, NY. She lived in Jackson and Lakewood before moving to Whiting in 1993. She was an inspector for 3M Corporation, Freehold, for 15 years, retiring in 1975. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Lucille was predeceased by her husband, Edward in 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Catalano of Beachwood and Betsy Gallucci of Bayville and two grandchildren, Laura Piano and Paul Gallucci. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Woodland Road, Bayville, NJ. Burial will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
