Margaret K. D'Elia, 88, of Whiting, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River. Margaret was born in Jersey City and lived in East Orange and Manahawkin before moving to Whiting in 2002. She was a member and past president of the Women's Club in Manahawkin. She was the Number One Amateur Pastel Artist in the State of New Jersey. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John, in 2001. She is survived by three children and their spouses, John and Lorraine of Toms River, Duane and Denise of Bethlehem, PA and Dale D'Elia of Forked River; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 26, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting.
