Margaret A. Everson, 91, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Whiting Health Care Center in Manchester. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, Margaret moved to Whiting in 1994. She worked as a cashier for Canteen Food Service at Ford Motor Corporation in Edison, NJ. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Alton in 1980 and her son, Alan in 1973. She is survived by her sister, Rose Seybuck of Whiting and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call Tuesday, May 26, 2009, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, 28 Schoolhouse Road, Whiting. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. in the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
