Maria Forgione, 72, of Whiting, NJ, passed the night of February 6 2026 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. Maria was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and resided in Whiting with her husband, Joseph, in 2001.

Maria worked as a secretary for the New Jersey government until her retirement in 2005. She loved to cook, spend quality time with her family, and travel. Her favorite city to visit was Las Vegas.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Forgione; her stepchildren, Angela (Pat) Forgione, Joseph (Gina) Forgione, and Michelle Forgione; her grandchildren, Breanna, Brandon and Morgan; her brothers, Joseph Russo and Barry Russo; her sisters Dawn Warshay and Rose Russo; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A viewing will be held on February 12, 2026, from 9:15 am to 10:15 am at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home, located at 28 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting, NJ. A mass will be offered on February 12, 2026 at 10:45 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, located at 30 Schoolhouse Road in Whiting, NJ. Burial will follow at Ewing Cemetery, located at 78 Scotch Road, Ewing Township, NJ.
