Marian "Marty" R. Grzybek peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 28th, surrounded by his family. Until his death, he resided in Whiting, NJ. Marty was 82 years old.

An immigrant from Poland, Marty arrived in New York with his family in 1951. After marrying his wife Joann, they moved to Brooklyn where they had their two children, before moving to Hasbrouck Heights, NJ.

Obsessed with numbers, Marty worked as a tax accountant for Time Warner until his retirement. He also enjoyed fishing, many frequent visits to Atlantic City and collecting coins.

Marty is survived by his loving wife Joann (Niekrewicz); son Richard Grzybek and grandchildren Kevin and Erica Grzybek; daughter Kim Yurcik and her spouse Dennis Yurcik. He is also survived by his caring sister, Helene Rumley; niece Ursula Piecka and her husband Joe; nephew Thomas Grzybek and his wife Gloria, and their children Teresa and Thomas.

Marty is predeceased by his parents, Peter and Anna Grzybek (née Hiza); his brother Stanley Grzybek and sister-in-law Katy Grzybek; brother Michael Grzybek and sister Janka Grzybek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, April 5th, at 10:45am at the All Saints Chapel of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, in Whiting, NJ where he was a parishioner.

In the coming weeks, the family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service. Details will follow.
