Marie T. Hogan, 89, of Whiting passed away, Friday, July 17, 2015 at home. Born in Staten Island, NY, she lived in South Amboy before moving to Whiting in 1975. Marie was a seamstress for Komar Clothing Factory, South Amboy for 10 years. She was a member of the VFW 8745 Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer for Somebody C.A.R.E.S., Inc. Whiting. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Marie was predeceased by her husband, James J. Hogan in 1995; three sons, James J., Jr. in 1967, Joseph F. in 2015 and Peter M. in 2002. She is survived by four grandchildren, Christy Stoehr, Marc Hogan, J.R. Hogan and Patrick Hogan; five great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Denice and Jeannine and her loving caretaker, Wendy. A Memorial Mass will be offered Tuesday, July 21st at 10:45 a.m. at the All Saints Chapel of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Whiting. Arrangements are under the direction of Manchester memorial Funeral Home, Whiting.
