Marie Kenny, 79, of Bayville, passed away surrounded by her loving family at home on December 9, 2024. Born in Lancashire, England, she came to the United States in 1964, settling in Elizabeth. She lived there and in Iselin for many years before settling in Bayville in 1998.

Marie worked as a nurse's assistant at JFK Hospital in addition to raising her children at home.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Austin Kenny, parents, John and Elsie (Lilley) Farrington; and her grandson, Sean Kenny. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Patricia and her husband Glynn Dubil of Bayville, Austin Kenny and his wife Debbie of Columbia, SC, and James and his wife Eloisa of Metuchen; her grandchildren, Krystle Bernknopf and her husband Steven, Joseph Piccolella and his wife Ashley, Shannon Dubil, Glynn Michael Dubil, Jennifer Bosley and her husband Max, Austin Kenny, Lisa Kenny, and Brett Lyskowski; her great-grandchildren, Savannah, Lucas, Nora, Sammy, Hudson, and Brielle.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Manchester Memorial Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Barnabas RC Church, 33 Woodland Road, Bayville. Cremation and interment of cremains will be private.
